Titanium and nickel in chemical processing equipment

Chemical plants specify titanium and nickel alloys where chlorides, oxidizing media and seawater would attack stainless steels. Typical applications include heat exchanger tubes and tubesheets, reactor internals, columns and trays, piping, valves and pumps.

Grade selection follows the media and temperature: commercially pure titanium for moderate chloride service, Gr7/Gr12 for improved crevice corrosion resistance, and nickel alloys (Nickel 200/201, Monel 400, Inconel 600/625, Hastelloy C-276) where higher strength at temperature or resistance to caustic and reducing media is required.

We supply plate, sheet, bar, tube, pipe, flange and fitting stock to ASTM and ASME standards with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, and machine components to customer drawings where required.
